Wrench Information
All torque wrenches fall
into different categories
based upon our experience
and that of the manufacturer.
The actual click from a torque
wrench is considered a "cycle"
of that wrench. Most manufacturers
recommend basic calibration
after 8000 to 12000 cycles.
For most customers, this means
calibration every 8 to12 months
Calibration
Reporting
Team Torque Inc. will give
you FREE detailed information
on each torque wrench calibrated.
We will also provide a Certificate
of Calibration sheet
that will show the following
for each torque wrench: Trending,
location, status, range, set
point (if preset), calibration
specification, completion
date, next calibration date,
accuracy before and after
calibration, and the technician
that certified the wrench.
Torque
Wrench Repair
A wrench coming into our facility
first goes through an initial
inspection and basic cleaning
procedures. Initial accuracy
readings and evaluations are
done.
Should the wrench pass the
initial inspection, it is
calibrated and certified to
factory or national standards..
If it does not pass the inspection,
it is evaluated and estimated
for a repair cost and depending
on the needs of the tool the
customer would be called.
If it is found not to be repairable
due to cost or condition,
it is condemned.
